I see the political correctness police have the knives out for Conservative peer Lord Dixon-Smith. His crime was to use the rather antiquated phrase, “n***** in the woodpile“. It’s not a phrase that I would use myself, but there again Lord Dixon-Smith is of an age where this term was probably used more frequently.
