There’s something distinctly unsavoury about the concept of an Eton-educated Tory like Oliver Letwin presiding over a discussion concerning affordable housing. What experience Mr Letwin has in the departments of destitution, poverty and homelessness is unknown to me, but I can hazard a guess.
