Just one amalgamated Lib-Lab-Con candidate for the sake of defeating the BNP? But it’s undemocratic, Mr d’Ancona!

Matthew d’Ancona’s article featured in the London Evening Standard, on Thursday 16th November, in which he urges the main political parties to combine to field just one candidate in Barking (impliedly the current Labour MP, Margaret Hodge), to stand against BNP leader and parliamentary candidate Nick Griffin, shows just how far the establishment and their media mouth-pieces are prepared to go in order to avoid giving free rein to the wishes of the British people. The fact that a Standard journalist can openly make such an audacious suggestion and expect to be taken seriously by his readership simply beggars belief!
We in the British National Party have been voicing for over a decade, the real concerns of the ordinary people which have been and continue to be ignored and overridden by a ruling class that has absolutely no intention of listening or taking its role as representing the wishes and aspirations of the British people seriously. On defence, the Wars, immigration, Europe, law and order, education, the list goes on and on. And at last the message is beginning to get through! Ordinary decent Brits are waking up to the fact that they have been and are being betrayed by the very people that they voted in to represent their interests and the interests of this nation! And of course, the ‘snouts-in-the-trough’ brigade don’t like it, because it means the end of their self-perpetuating and self-promoting gravy train.
For them, the prospect of even one BNP MP is simply too much to bear! Good heavens, such an event might even be infectious! Just supposing more right thinking people elsewhere were influenced to exercise their choice at the ballot box in a similar manner? The seismic repercussions for the fat-cat political and chattering classes could be catastrophic! Because it would quite simply spell the end of the line for the establishment’s free-for-all, and they are out to preserve their own interests at all costs!
Their remedy? Well, apart from smearing us from dawn ‘til dusk and refusing to debate with us fairly or meaningfully- the recent Question Time lynch mob was a clear example of this, the unfairness of which fortunately, millions were able to observe first hand and make their own minds up about, Mr d’Ancona goes even further. He has the audacity to suggest that by depriving the people of Barking of the usual range of opposing candidates they will all go out and vote for just the one BNP opponent, and that way, the political and democratic process can be skewed in order to obtain the result that the Establishment so fervently desires. Not only are they not satisfied with the current position of all the main parties saying the same thing, they don’t even want to allow the electorate the charade of choice, if by denying them this trifling concession, it will defeat the BNP! This to me holds terrifying premonitions of the rise of the One Party state. But take note! If they were try and gerrymander the constituency in such a pathetic attempt to stifle freedom of choice, we would still take the seat. Margaret Hodge’s days are over. We will dislodge Hodge!
Shame on you, Mr d’Ancona! This is yet another example of just how low is the establishment prepared to stoop in order to keep the lid on the BNP and themselves where they want to be- in power and in control. And the people, especially the working class, can in their opinion, go to hell! And so, what about ‘democracy’? According to you and your ilk, Mr d’Ancona, it would seem that if it’s the price to be paid for defeating the BNP, democracy can be damned!
