As of 10:30 this morning it is my unfortunate duty to inform you that the much anticipated call from Mayor Boris has failed to materialise. I’ve still not given up hope though and whilst organising a BNP demonstration against the imminent arrival into Britain of disgraced glam rock star Gary Glitter, I’m keeping a watchful eye on the phone.

Later this week I will be a guest on BBC Radio Four which I am most looking forward to. No, it’s not Desert Island Discs, but it will be a politically significant piece nevertheless. Staying with a musical theme, there is a splendid piece in this morning’s Telegraph by Simon Heffer concerning Britain’s greatest ever composer, Ralph Vaughan Williams.

Going back to Tim Parker, the latest Deputy Mayor to leave City Hall, it really does feel like the Big Brother house here sometimes. I’ve no idea about the real reason for his departure other than a rumour drifting around the swirling corridors here that Mayor Boris was insistent on keeping the top slot when it comes to the chairmanship of Transport for London. Mr Parker, a successful businessman reputed to be worth some £80m, told us all that he was fascinated by politics when he first arrived. Even so despite this relatively short lived captivation I feel that, unlike those before him, Mr Parker would have made a difference.

My old sparring partner Lily Allen, has according to the London’s free papers, been fighting on the streets again. Lily recently drafted in by Mayor Boris to help quell violence in London has recently released an anti-BNP song, which miraculously has leaked its way onto Youtube. If Lily really wants to make amends, how about recording a duo with myself with all proceeds going to my London’s Mothers Against Knives campaign. Just two conditions though Lily, no pink hair and no foul-mouthed lyrics.

Next month I shall be speaking at a conference in Cologne concerning the growing menace of fundamentalism that threatens virtually every nation in Europe. No doubt you will hear more and more about this nearer the time as the liberal media work themselves into a predictable and pre-fabricated frenzy. How ironic it is that a healthy dose of Sharia Law is probably the only wake up call these multicultural bigots will heed.
