Ferrets in a Sack

Posted on 02. Aug, 2008 by Richard Barnbrook in Latest News

Here’s a letter that was published yesterday in the East London Advertiser. Most of you will find it amusing, in fact the left can have their uses, sometimes.

Dear Editor,

Is it just me or is there a parallel universe in the East End of London?

There must be a parallel existence inhabited by, among others, Baroness Uddin of Bethnal Green and Simon Wooley of Operation Black Vote based Bethnal Green.

I discovered trawling through the Far Right websites an article titled ‘Government Launches anti-white Discrimination Plan on Council Level,’ about a new business venture launched by Wooley and fronted by Baroness Uddin called the Asian and Minority Women Councillors Task Force.

Having run up against the illegality of all black shortlists for councillors and MPs, the race relations ‘industry’ has hit on the “cunning plan,” as Baldric in Black Adder would say, of persuading ethnic minority women to become councillors.

They have not noticed that the only way of becoming a councillor except as an independent is to join one of the main political parties and be selected a candidate.

This has not deterred them from getting the Minister for Women and Equality, Harriet Harman, to dish out a lot of public cash for the project, however.

This and other similar schemes are based on the assumption that all whites and society are racist, and on a level playing field every ethnic minority would have exactly the right amount of its members in the Commons, Town Hall chambers and in every other part of society.

This ‘democratic deficit’ comes from one of a number of varieties of racism, they argue, whether it’s institutional, unconscious, unwitting or unintentional.

I could go on, but everyone gets the picture…

Living in their parallel universe, the Uddins and Wooleys, surrounded by guilt-tripped whites, have no idea of the anger that is building among ordinary white people. Even if they knew, I doubt they would care very much as long as the cash is rolling in.

Readers to the East London Advertiser’s Letters Page will know I am involved in work against the BNP. I state without fear of contradiction that charades like this play straight into the hands of Nick Griffin and company at the BNP.

Yes, there is a section of society that is marginalised and under-represented. That is the working class white women who are increasingly sick of being told they live some kind of privileged life.

I have spent a lot of time over the last two years in Barking and Dagenham talking to some of them who made no secret of their intention to vote BNP, citing schemes like Baroness Uddin’s as one of the reasons.

No-one who cares about the rise of the BNP should have anything to do this, or any of the other anti-white enterprise emanating from Operation Black Vote. Boycott them all
